Zale Corp (ZLC) loses the family jewels

Zale hit the all-time low after news CFO Rodney Carter would be stepping down. Zale did not disclose a reason for the departure of CFO Rodney Carter, but said Controller Cindy Gordon will take over on an interim basis. Spokesman David Sternblitz said the company does not comment on personnel decisions but reiterated the change is not related to the company's accounting practices and financial statements.

Zale Corporation (Public, NYSE:ZLC), retailer of overpriced fine jewely, has hit an all time low on Wednesday, dropping to just $1.42 a share.

Talk about a stock you don’t want to have in your portfolio during struggling economic times.
