slumlord's rumblings: TV studio construction

Dear friends and family,

I'm in Thailand right now and I'm really happy. The Lord finally convinced us that we could trust Him and step out in faith to begin the TV studio construction in Northern Thailand. Yesterday I met with the contractor and Pastor Phamor and we approved the plans and gave the green light for him to start ordering materials and begin excavating! We must pay in 10 equal installments all totaling about $140,000. We had to really scrape to get the first installment in place so he can start building. But if God calls, He will provide. When feeding the 5,000, Christ used what He had and did not wait until all the food was in sight before starting the work. This is what we've been impressed to do also. I'm just excited at the fact that this studio has the potential to touch a quarter of the earth's population!

Also, I just got word from our friends in the Philippines that the TV studio is well underway there too! This studio is a special sound-proof room being built inside an existing building in order to keep costs down. This is where we did the video training in September and left the video equipment. Praise the Lord, the funds have been provided for this project, but the prayers are still needed!

Tomorrow I'm off to Delhi, in Northern India for a 4-week tour of the largest neglected portions of God's vineyard I have ever witnessed. 10% of the world's entire population lives there. We need your prayers!

Dear All,

Today is the fourth day of the ongoing renovations for the JFA Studio here in iloilo, phils. We know Satan is angry about God's people working fast. We are soliciting your prayers for the protection of the workers and also for the materials that will be coming in.
We can't afford to delay the loudcry of the third angel's message. It has to spread throughout the world for a witness unto all nations so that all the miseries of this world will be ended. And we pray that we could take as many of God's children to the Heavenly home.

We have no time to lose. The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecies of the eleventh of Daniel have almost reached their final fulfillment.--RH Nov. 24, 1904.

The world must be warned of the soon coming of the Lord. We have but a little time in which to work. Years have passed into eternity that might have been improved in seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and in diffusing the light to others. God now calls upon His people who have great light and are established in the truth, having had much labor bestowed upon them, to work for themselves and for others as they have never done before. Make use of every ability; bring into exercise every power, every intrusted talent; use all the light that God has given you to do others good. Southern Watchman, June 20, 1905.

The work which the church has failed to do in a time of peace and prosperity, she will have to do in a terrible crisis, under most discouraging, forbidding, circumstances. The warnings that worldly conformity has silenced or withheld, must be given under the fiercest opposition from enemies of the faith. Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 463

At that time the "latter rain," or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, will come, to give power to the loud voice of the third angel, and prepare the saints to stand in the period when the seven last plagues shall be poured out.--EW 86 (1854).
